As parents and lawmakers, it's our job to do everything we can to keep our children as safe as possible, but we can't do that if our justice system keeps letting violent sex offenders back out on the streets.   That's why the efforts being made by our state legislators to protect our children are so very important.  It's difficult to believe that anyone could harm our children in such a horrific way, but sadly such things do happen.  As parents, we must do everything we can to protect our children and we are very grateful to our state's legislators for their efforts to do just that.
